Appointment of a New Trustee: A Supplement to the School's Trust Deed - 5th April 1955

Whenever a new Trustee is appointed to the school's Board of Trustees, a supplement to the original Trust Deed is produced, such as the one here. This one details the appointment of Anthony Wemyss Moore Disney to the Board on the 5th April 1955. Each supplement also lists the previous supplements to the Trust Deed. In this document supplements dated 13th April 1946 and 3rd December 1953 are noted. It is also worth noting that the Trust Deed here, although identical to the Unity High School Trust Deed, is in fact that of the Clergy House School (later KIPS) which was governed by the same people as at Unity. The two schools were very much interlinked during this period and for some time after. Controversy over the ownership of KIPS has arisen a number of times over the years in relation to this Trust Deed.

Are you sure this is not the Unity Trust on Clegy House Paper. No front page so I can't really say. Anyway we know that the Church Council lost Clergy House school somehow and that nobody is talking and all paperwork surrounding this event and this period appears to be missing.

  2. The paperwork relating to Clergy House School - at least as it might dovetail in with the history of Unity High School seems to have been deposited in the Sudan Archive at the University of Durham in England. Efforts will be made this summer to research this material and then posted here on this Archive. Whether this is the Unity Trust on Clergy House paper or not, the fact of it's existence shows that there were extremely strong links and crossovers between the two schools via the conduit of the Trustees.

  3. I think I have the front page of this but its still not clear. Charles Bonsall is a Trustee of Clergy House though. This we do know

  4. Excellent news if you have the front page to this. Bonsall was most definitely a Trustee of Clergy House School (now KIPS) but almost certainly also a Trustee of Unity High School as the letter from IR Williams concerning the state of the Trustees from 1981 (yet to be posted on the Archive) is in relation to Unity and not the Clergy House School. It is highly likely that the Trustees for both schools were very much interchangeable.

  5. Robbie and Safwat should have read this. Its a beginners guide on how to make a new Trustee. No good relying on Treagust to show you how its done.

  6. It is intriguing as to why Robert Boulos and Safwat Fanous should have resorted to their amateurish and rather laughable, forged 'Trustee letter' (yet to be posted on the Archive) when there were examples such as this to guide them. What is also perplexing is why the former Principal, David Treagust, would collude in their frankly ridiculous efforts....and of course that of the school lawyer, who was also complicit in the fraud and forgery that lead to the theft of Unity High School.

  7. Since I now know that Winifred Hill denies being a Trustee I am wondering if any of them from 1973 were. None of theThe Trustee documents in Durham are dated that recently.possibly people were setting themselves up as Trustees even earlier than 1995. None of them went so far as to change the Land Registry. We are believing these people based on minutes of a meeting. If this was not all coming out now perhaps people would have beieved Robbie Safwat Kondo et al because they also have a set of minutes labeled Trustee Meeting.
