  1. Having seen the CMS school in Omdurman it is no surprise that Unity had to spend a lot on repairs once it was bought back from the CMS. The building is only 25 years old at this point and is pretty substantially built so why was there so much building work to be done?
    good to see Bishop's donating to the school. This was the norm in those days

  2. The story that is being told to the staff of the CMS school currently (and possibly back then) is that the church has no money as the government is stealing it all. This is clearly preposterous but does cover the fact that almost nothing is being spent on repairs and upkeep of CMS schools.
